We continue to add new course options at the CEA CAPA Madrid Study Center to meet the needs of a variety of academic majors. Highlights include Mass Media & the Fashion Industry, Dynamics, Psychology of Gender, Street Art & Graffiti in Spain and more!
Combined CEA CAPA programming means more options than ever! CEA CAPA Dublin Center students will find the Irish cultural theme of storytelling woven throughout
expanded course offerings in Business, Psychology, and Communications. Options are rounded out with a wide selection of cultural courses, including a new elective on Sport and Culture.
Students looking to develop their language skills during the Winter Quarter can take our new January/February Intensive Spanish language offering with Veritas University. Students enroll in two intensive Spanish courses and will earn a total of eight semester credits. This program is available for all language levels.
This six-week program is running mid-June through late July and aligns well with the summer quarter. Students can select one or two STEM courses including Introduction to Programming and/or General Biology with Laboratory. Additional electives are available in fine arts, social sciences and humanities.
London and Prague each offer an internship program option with a later summer start. The internship is accompanied by the Global Internship Course to help students learn how to articulate the value of their internship through the lens of NACE Career Readiness Competencies. A wide range of internship career fields are available including business, communication, design, performing arts, political science, and more!
We’re pleased to feature three new program opportunities at the University of Sydney.
Students are now able to select from curated course lists in Psychology, Environmental Studies, and Design Thinking. Students will round out their semester with electives at USYD and an Engaging Australia course taught at the CEA CAPA Study
Center.
CEA CAPA is proud to offer a career-focused course in our semester and summer portfolio. This hands-on course places students into small consulting teams to engage in project-based learning with business enterprises abroad. In addition to weekly class instruction, students meet regularly with clients to generate solutions to real-world business problems. Students complement the Business Consulting course with additional electives. The course is available at our CEA CAPA Study Centers in Barcelona, Dublin, Florence, London, Prague, Paris, Rome, and Sydney.
We are exited to offer FYE Abroad programs in Seville, Florence, Prague and Dublin. Rooted in U.S. higher education best practices, first-year experiences are valuable high-impact practices that set U.S. institutions apart while supporting student development and academic success. By partnering with CEA CAPA, U.S. institutions have access to our cohort model in which institutions share courses, housing, and co-curricular programming with other first-year programs. We’re pleased to continue offering programming in CEA CAPA’s latest locations: Amsterdam, Netherlands, Budapest, Hungary and Cape Town, South Africa. Programs feature robust course options – taught in English – in a variety of disciplines, including business, computer science, STEM, humanities, as well as opportunities to be immersed in courses with local and international students.
